Vegetable Personality Styles Working in Color
There are so many ways of working from a high salary tech company CEO to the big smile on a child's face after teaching him how to use clay to craft a sculpture. Work is what we do when we strive to accomplish something. Understanding Vegetable Personality Style Colors helps us build confidence in ourselves, appreciate the contributions of others, and build supportive relationships.
Our personality style is what others see in the way we show our natural strengths, interests, and experiences. Through understanding our strengths and our style, we can bring our passions and create joy in the work we are doing.
There are many definitions of work and many ways of working. I am choosing a broad definition for the purpose of this book.
Work is activity you are doing alone or with others. Merriam Webster’s definition of work is “to produce a desired effect or result” Merriam Webster.com, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/work
You naturally challenge yourself when you love what you are doing.
Have you noticed what you are doing when you feel charged up, energized, and completely “in the zone”? You seem to function with little or no effort. Because things seem so easy when you are using your strengths, you often don’t recognize them as special abilities. In fact, when you use your natural strengths, you feel energized rather than tired. When you love what you are doing, you may not notice the time, temperature, or sounds around you.
Careers are not defined by job titles but knowing how you like to work and what kind of environment fits, you will be able to make better choices. Learning the Vegetable Personality Colors will help you find value in your work, see your strengths, practice skills you want to use, and value your relationships.
