The purpose of the Vegetable Personality Styles™ analogy is to learn more about yourself and create more opportunities for success in your relationships and how you want to express yourself. The Vegetable Personality Styles are not advice to tell you who you are or what work you should do. Your life is not defined by vegetables––although they are healthy and fun. My goal for this book is to help you find ways to nurture the vegetable in you so you will grow and thrive in your relationships. The first thing we see when meeting someone is their style, the way they dress, speak, and express themselves. Natural strengths, or the abilities we are born with take a little longer to learn from each other.

 

Knowing the strengths of your personality style will help you build confidence in your innate abilities and find ways of expressing them. Having a language to communicate your strengths and recognize the strengths of people you interact with will help you appreciate all of the strengths and the uniqueness of each individual. During your life and career you will need to tap into each of the strengths either developing the ability to use them yourself or connecting with someone who has that strength.
